35:27 – The correct moral and ethical decision is very clear:
IN ORDER TO AVOID HITTING A PEDESTRIAN, THE DRIVER MUST STOP, INCLUDING AT THE PRICE OF THE DRIVER'S OWN LIFE.
Let's take, as an example, the following scenario:
You are driving a car. Right behind you, there is a fast truck, driving almost at your tail.
Suddenly, you get closer to a pedestrian crossing and a child is right on it, crossing the road from one side to another.
If you will keep on going, you shall hit and murder the child.
If you'll stop the car, the truck is almost certain to kill you.
WHAT DO YOU DO?
My own moral and ethical decision is VERY clear: YOU MUST STOP THE CAR AT ONCE AND NOT KILL THAT CHILD!!
And, as far as I am concerned, ANYONE feeling differently about it, should be shot. Pure and simple.
