Just a few comments:
– Although her vid is pretty good, for the most part, she is dead wrong to recommend brown rice. Personally, ever since I've learned of the arsenic in rice, by early 2016, I have never even TOUCHED brown rice – and have hardly eaten white rice, either.
– Buying dry beans with no packaging may be cheaper, BUT you have got to be ready for the very likely option, that it does already host an entire colony of moth-eggs ready to hatch, so… I'll just stick to the well-packaged ones, thanks. Have had to throw away quite a bit of beans a few months ago, and THAT one miserable, almost traumatic experience was ENOUGH.
– And, on a different note: I have, from time to time, eaten quite a bit of beans – when eaten along with tomato-kvetchup, or Hummus, they are yummy enough for it. 🙂
– Cashew Cheese, when made right, DOES taste EXACTLY like the dairy one; believe me, I have tried it quite a bit of times and, by the taste, I would actually have suspected it WERE dairy, had I not been a witness to the entire preparation process, so… 🙂 perhaps you've just happened across a not-very-professionally made one? 🙂
– Turmeric RULES. It is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Healthy, good for the body in LOTS of ways and tastes just fine… personally, I add at least one table-spoon of it (mostly two) to ANYTHING savory I make.
– I don't believe, for even a millisecond, that ANYONE does actually uses bones(!!) to make white sugar… I mean, they can't! 🙂 And I am sure of that, for one simple reason: as an Israeli, I KNOW white sugar is PARVE Kosher, NOT "meat kosher"!! So, it can't POSSIBLY contain any horror-films' materials, such as bones brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr White sugar is simply poison for the body, period – but it is Vegan… same way that margarine is Vegan: it does not hurt Animals – but it DOES hurt anyone who eats it. So, I just do my best to avoid it. 🙂 (Also should avoid sugar in general, now but that's just my own health-situation.)
– HowEVER, talking about sweets: you've just GOTTA try "Panda Chocolate" = https://pandachocolates.com – who I know have started to move into the markets in your country (there might be some delays, due to the global situation of the moment, but look out for their stuff – THEY RULE!!! 🙂 ).
